Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

At Treviño Funeral Home, we recognize that many of us enjoy freedoms made possible by the sacrifices of our veterans. Through their courage, patriotism, and love of country, they have protected us all.

As a token of our gratitude, veterans receive a free casket. This is our way of saying thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Our staff is honored to assist families in securing the benefits their loved ones have earned, including burial in a VA national cemetery and military funeral honors. Eligible veterans, service members, spouses, and dependents may qualify for these services.

Military honors often include the playing of Taps, a rifle detail, a color guard, and the ceremonial folding and presentation of the U.S. flag to family members. These traditions reflect our nation’s deepest gratitude.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support pouring in for the 6th Annual Albert Leal Jr Memorial Boxing Event happening Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi! 🙌
This year, we’re proud to present 20 action-packed bouts of amateur boxing, showcasing the rising talent of South Texas — and all in tribute to a true hometown hero, Albert Leal Jr.
Albert wasn’t just a CCPD officer who bravely served our community — he was a father, brother, son, and friend who touched the lives of so many. Since his passing from ALS in 2018, his legacy has lived on through this event, and we’re honored to continue sharing his passion for boxing with the world.
💙 A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the ALS Foundation, and every punch thrown in that ring will echo the spirit and strength Albert embodied.
