Philanthropy is most powerful when it restores dignity, not just solves a problem.

Head lice is often misunderstood as a minor inconvenience. In reality, it is a silent crisis for thousands of families leading to school exclusion, bullying, lost income, and deep emotional distress. For low income and underserved families, professional treatment is simply out of reach.

The Lice Project Foundation exists to change that.

Founded by a nationally recognized leader in holistic lice treatment and education, our foundation is dedicated to removing financial, social, and emotional barriers surrounding head lice while delivering compassionate, professional care to those who need it most.

Our Vision

We are launching a luxury, fully mobile lice-treatment clinic a professionally designed, medically outfitted van that will travel throughout Texas to serve underserved communities, shelters, schools, and rural areas. This mobile clinic allows us to deliver completely free, safe, and effective lice removal services with discretion, professionalism, and respect.

Beyond treatment, the foundation invests in education, prevention, and advocacy, working directly with schools and community organizations to dismantle stigma and prevent reinfestation before it begins.

As I sit in silence, it finally hit me another dream has been marked off my list. But this wasn’t just a dream. It was a vision. A vision of changing lives, breaking stigma, and bringing education and compassion to families who need it most.

Through my social media platform, I’ve been blessed to educate and reach families all over the world. But being able to serve my beautiful state of Texas, boots on the ground, face to face with children and parents who feel overwhelmed and unseen that means everything to me.

This mission was born from real life. Head lice affects millions of children every year, yet it remains one of the most misunderstood and stigmatized childhood conditions. Children are bullied, isolated, sent home from school, and made to feel “dirty” or ashamed simply for something that has nothing to do with hygiene or neglect. Many families lack access to education, effective treatment, or the financial resources to properly care for their children, leaving them stuck in a painful cycle of frustration and embarrassment.

Our Mission Statement:
Our mission is to remove the financial, social, and emotional barriers surrounding head lice by providing education, compassionate care, and free or accessible treatment to underserved children and families while restoring dignity, confidence, and hope to every child we serve.

I am now opening the door for those who feel called to join this mission whether through volunteering, serving on our board, or donating to help us expand our reach. This is bigger than me. This is about community, education, and changing the narrative for children who deserve kindness instead of judgment.

This is only the beginning and I’m forever grateful for the people God continues to place alongside me on this journey 🤍

WHY THE LICE PROJECT FOUNDATION EXISTS ✨

Head lice is often brushed off as “no big deal.”
But for so many families, it is everything.

It’s children being sent home from school.
It’s parents missing work.
It’s families spending hundreds of dollars they don’t have on treatments that don’t work.
It’s shame, stigma, and tears over something completely out of their control.

The Lice Project Foundation was created to change that.

Our mission is simple but powerful:
🤍 Provide FREE, professional head lice treatment
🤍 Restore dignity to children and families
🤍 Break the stigma that lice equals “dirty” or neglect
🤍 Bring care directly into underserved communities

We are launching Texas’ first mobile lice treatment clinic a fully equipped Sprinter van that will travel to schools, shelters, and low-income neighborhoods to treat children at no cost to their families.

This is about more than lice.
This is about access, compassion, and dignity.

Community friends, I need your help again today. 🤍

My sweet friend Elizabeth witnessed something that broke her heart a mama walking with three small babies in the cold without socks or shoes. After speaking with her, we learned they are currently living in a hotel and doing their best to survive.

Let’s come together and wrap this family in love the way our community always does. 🫶

This little bestie of mine will always be a part of my life.

For those who don’t know, she was once a patient of ours here at the clinic.

Right before Christmas, she and her dad were living in a homeless shelter. Our community came together and, by God’s grace, we were able to help get them into a safe apartment fully furnished, stocked with food, and everything they needed so she could wake up on Christmas morning with gifts under the tree and her own cozy bed.

That was all God’s work. ✨

Now that I have a nonprofit foundation, The Lice Project Foundation, I’ll be able to help change so many more lives and educate children who struggle with lice and the stigma that comes with it.

She was at the right place at the right time. God placed her in my clinic for a reason and I was honored to be part of changing their lives.

These aren’t just clients to me. I build real relationships, and I absolutely love what I do.
I’ve been blessed to serve my community here in Corpus Christi and now I get to help families across the entire state of Texas.

I officially launched The Lice Project Foundation, a Texas-based nonprofit created to remove the financial, social, and emotional barriers families face when dealing with head lice especially in underserved communities.

This mission is deeply personal to me. No child should miss school, feel ashamed, or go untreated because their family cannot afford care. Lice is not about cleanliness it’s about access, education, and compassion.

To provide free, safe, and effective head-lice treatment, education, and prevention resources to children and families through community partnerships and a fully mobile treatment unit serving Texas.

We are currently seeking heart-led individuals to join us in the early stages:

• Board Members with experience in nonprofit leadership, finance, healthcare, education, legal, or fundraising
• Volunteers who want hands-on impact in the community
• Sponsors & Donors who believe in restoring dignity to children and families
• Community Partners (schools, churches, shelters, organizations)

You don’t need experience just integrity, compassion, and a desire to be part of real change.

It was all a dream… until God made it my purpose.

I fully understand now that God placed me exactly where I am to help others. I was once that woman. That mom. A single mom who needed help, support, and someone to see her struggle and say, “I’ve got you.”

I’ve lived it. I know what it feels like to struggle, to feel overwhelmed, and to wonder how you’re going to make it through.

Today, I proudly embark on a new journey with The Lice Project Foundation. I am beyond humbled and deeply grateful for every single person who believed in this mission and helped me bring this foundation to life. This is bigger than me it’s about dignity, compassion, and showing up for families who need it most.
