Join us on April 10th at Water’s Edge Park for the TARS 5K, helping raise awareness for TARS, a rare genetic disorder that affects bone development and causes low platelet counts.

April is TARS Awareness Month and there’s no better way to show your support than by showing up, running and giving back. In support of this important cause, the Coastal Bend Blood Center will have a bloodmobile on-site from 5:15 PM – 7:30 PM. ❤️

The Easter Bunny hopped by the Coastal Bend Blood Center! 🥚🐰 Earlier this week, our team had a blast celebrating our Eggstravaganza Event with a special visit from the Easter Bunny! 🌷✨

It was a fun moment for our staff to come together, share some smiles and enjoy a little Easter cheer. 💛

We were honored to host a replacement blood drive in support of our coworker, Audry, at her dad’s place of work, King Ranch Ag & Turf in Robstown yesterday. 🚜

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected 19 lifesaving units of blood, helping save up to 57 lives right here in the Coastal Bend. A special thank you to Teresa Gwosdz for helping organize this meaningful blood drive and to everyone who showed up to give in Audry’s honor. 💛
