Are you a planner? Or are you someone who actually has a plan?

Planners are quick to acknowledge they have their affairs in order with Powers of Attorney established, Long-Term Care Insurance secured, and a thoroughly discussed plan with their spouse or children if there are changes in health or mobility.

But here is the problem with these plans, they are fully dependent on everything lining up just right to work.

Three out of 10 older adults live alone and many of them spend the bulk of their waking hours alone. Loneliness and social isolation are huge issues. One older adult approached an MRC Community when he found himself incredibly lonely and isolated. After moving into his new home, he commented, “My life was transformed by the Covenant Fund. I went from just barely living, almost just waiting to die, to having a community that I am a part of. Instead of just living until I die, I am now looking forward to life again.”
