Here’s a little fun fact Friday for you all!
Did you know that Isaac Newton, better known for his scientific achievements, became a scourge of counterfeiters as the Warden of the Royal Mint, a position he held until his death in his mid-80s? You can achieve great things no matter what your age is! We certainly know that, having such wonderful residents at Cambridge Retirement Living!

Cambridge Corry was so pleased to honor our beautiful resident Mothers! All our gorgeous mothers shared a sparkling beverage and some cheesecake stuffed strawberries. Now we must remember, this is THEIR day, so if they ate their berries before the camera could come out…that’s perfectly alright! It just goes to show how delicious the dessert really was! We love you Moms!

This past week we put a ‘twist(er)’ on Trivia! The residents tossed a bag on the color to see what category trivia question they got! But before they knew the rules, you should have seen their faces when our activities director Michelle set up the twister mat!! She told us that Kathy started packing up to leave and said, “I can’t play twister, they’ll need an ambulance to get me off the floor”! Not to worry Kathy, our games are always resident friendly!!!

Our Hair Stylist, Emma, is here every other week keeping our residents looking beautiful! Getting your hair done is so relaxing, it’s hard not to doze off. That’s multitasking beauty sleep with beautiful hair!

Cambridge Corry had some special guests visit this week! Mark and Kathy Shettler from Soul Seeking Community stopped by and volunteered their time to come out and sing some hymns with our residents! They absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for coming!

Don't worry, this shark doesn't bite! We can’t stop giggling over these photos! Our residents have really taken to our “Fish Toss” game at Cambridge Corry. Of course, we’re working on our dexterity and hand-eye-coordination, but we’re really there for the laughter and the smiles! 🦈

We are getting so excited for our Craft Party May 14th from 2pm-4pm! We can’t wait to have you join us crafting this adorable sunflower craft! This FREE event is open to 10 crafters to join our residents. We’re accepting donations to go towards our activities department! Stay tuned for photos!!!
