On September 13, the Navarro County Genealogical Society gathered for a heartfelt program that reminded us why we do what we do.
We were honored to hear the winning essays from this year’s Mary (Spain) Rogers My Favorite Ancestor/Relative contest—each story a moving tribute to the lives that shaped us. From quiet courage to unforgettable quirks, these voices brought history home in the most personal way.
