Late August in Texas = double trouble: 🌾 ragweed season + ☀️ triple-digit heat.
Both can leave your immune system run-down, making it easier to catch colds, strep, or other back-to-school bugs.
Here’s how to protect yourself:
✅ Hydrate often — aim for at least 8–10 cups of water a day, more if you’re outdoors.
✅ Shower after being outside to wash pollen off skin and hair.
✅ Close windows at home and in the car to keep pollen out.
✅ Limit outdoor time during peak pollen hours (5–10 a.m.) and hottest parts of the day (2–6 p.m.).
✅ Take allergy meds as prescribed before symptoms hit.
If allergies or heat have you feeling drained, we can help you bounce back — and stay ahead of school germs.
