You do NOT have to be in full blown menopause to try HRT and see if it helps with your symptoms.
I use a stacking method where I try each hormone one at a time to see what kind of symptom relief you get.
I also highly recommend a grain, dairy, seed oil and processed sugar free diet to reduce inflammation. You can eventually reintroduce foods one at a time to see what you react to and what you can tolerate.
Most women are not told what is actually happening in the brain during perimenopause.
As estrogen levels decline, the brainโs immune system becomes more active in ways that can lead to the loss of synapses, the connections between brain cells that support memory and cognition.
This is one of the reasons some women notice changes in focus, recall, and mental clarity during this time.
It also raises an important point: Supporting the brain during this transition should be part of the conversation, not an afterthought.
