I’m honored to be presenting at the Texas Counseling Association Annual Conference in Houston on Thursday, November 20th from 1–4 PM!

Join me for “Unmasking the Wound: Empowerment-Focused Group Therapy & Ethical Dimensions for Female Survivors of Narcissistic Abuse.”

This session explores the deep impact of narcissistic abuse and the path toward healing through empowerment-based group therapy. Together, we’ll navigate the ethical considerations, therapeutic frameworks, and the vital role of community in helping survivors reclaim their sense of self, safety, and strength.

Finger-pointing divides. Compassion heals.
Anger silences. Unity uplifts.

To those who have lost their lives for daring to speak, for exercising the very freedom we claim to value—our hearts ache for you and your families. Your courage is not forgotten.

Let us honor them not by shouting louder across lines, but by building bridges where walls have stood. May our voices rise not in blame, but in love, respect, and relentless hope for a country that lives up to its promise: liberty and justice for all.

✨ Survivors of sexual assault deserve validation, not politics. When society reduces their pain to a “hoax” or dismisses their truth because of powerful names, it deepens their trauma.

➡️ Sexual assault is NOT a political issue.
➡️ It is a human issue.
➡️ It is a matter of safety, dignity, and justice.

Believe the Survivor of any abuse.

Let’s shift the focus where it belongs: listening, supporting, and protecting survivors — not trivializing their courage with conspiracy or political spin.

⭐️Embrace Your Authentic Self⭐️ In a world that often tries to shape us into something we’re not, it’s more important than ever to celebrate who we truly are. Being your authentic self means embracing your unique qualities, passions, warts, and quirks unapologetically. 💗
☀️Why is it so important? To have TRUE connections. When you show up as your genuine self, you attract the right people into your life - meaning, those who appreciate you for YOU! Next is to create inner peace ☮️. Letting go of the need for approval allows you to be freely and joyfully! 🦄 Inspiration! Your authenticity can be positively contagious. It can support those around you to also embrace their true selves. It creates a ripple effect 🌊of self-acceptance and empowerment. It can also breakdown the judging for all the wrong reasons. RESILIENCE is another great effect of authenticity. Authenticity builds more resilience to external pressures and negativity. Knowing who you are warts and all is a superpower!

Good morning sunshine ☀️! How are you beginning your day? I’m sipping on my mushroom 🍄 Java feeding the animals & making my super green smoothie.

I try to set aside some time to review the scheduled day, write in my Panda 🐼 Planner what my “Habit” is for the day. 3 things for which I’m grateful, and what will be the “Focus” of the day. All of this is healthy brain training. It actually grows neural pathways, to be specific with the microglial cell. It is so miraculous we can make such simple efforts that have profound long term benefits! You make it a great day!!!!

I just love these moments. They are so precious and such great friends. No wonder pets are the best emotional support for so many people.

Not only are they so cute, but they are so loving and it is pure UNCONDITIONAL love. Many people who have endured trauma can help their healing through the connection of an emotional support animal. It is a safe and enduring connection to help us have hope again. Learning the crucial anecdote to healing and prosperity is connection.
