In honor of OT Month, we’re highlighting occupational therapy in action 💙

Meet Mr. Jimmy Merritt who has been working hard with our OT team to improve strength, standing balance, and independence. Through dynamic standing activities—simulating laundry tasks, upper extremity exercises, and functional reaching to mimic cabinet access—he’s improving his balance, center of gravity, and ability to safely complete daily tasks.

With a focus on energy conservation and safety awareness, he’s making great progress toward returning home safely. 👏
