Just because you cannot do you usually exercises don’t just do busy work. Make sure to focus on keeping your whole body in shape so that when your injury heals you are ready to get back out there.

What does your step up look like from the side?
Is your shin vertical or do you have a positive shin angle?
A vertical shin place more workload on the knee and quads.
I challenge you to compare your two sides and see if they are the same or different, if one is painful and the other is not, and if you have more power on one side or the other.

EVERYTHING goes through the hips. So, if they are tight, they can lead to a host of problems.

A half kneeling stretch position is a good way to loosen your hip flexors, enhance your mobility, and improve overall health.
