I am truly honored to be voted as one of the top 3 providers in Cortez and Montezuma County.
I consider Dr. Hope Barkhurst a dear friend and one of the greatest Dr’s I’ve ever known. I was extremely fortunate to be able to do many of my Masters clinical training hours with Dr Barkhurst as well as training under Dr. Erin Schmitt. They are both amazing providers and wonderful women.

**Please Note**:
The office will have limited staff coverage between July 14th and the 25th. Someone will be checking voicemails and emails during this time, but return calls will likely take a little longer than usual.
The patient portal is a great way to send us a message, and we try to answer those as quickly as possible.

*Please plan ahead for medication refills! It is always best to call your pharmacy and request that they send us an electronic Refill Request. Those will be checked and taken care of within a few days.

If you have an acute medical issue during this time, please visit the AFC urgent care or SHS Walk-In clinic. If it is an emergency situation, please go to the hospital Emergency Department.

A note for Semaglutide and Tirzepitide Patients:
You have probably figured out by now, but our compounding pharmacy got slammed in the past month with extra orders from across the country, which slowed their processing time down. Instead of 2 weeks, it has been taking about 3 weeks to get our orders in. Please try to keep track of your medicine and order your next bottle when you have 3 injections remaining, to avoid running out. The pharmacy is working hard to get caught up and get the processing back under 2 weeks, but it will likely be awhile longer until that happens.
