The Loved Life Recovery & Grief Support

The Loved Life Recovery & Grief Support I am a woman & mother in recovery from substance abuse & a multitude of others. I also serve as Co-Lead for the SRF's Youth Action Committee.

☀️Holistically supporting women in their recovery journey
🕯Grief Support for loss due Substance Use/Addiction related deaths
🌻 Recovery Connections & Resources
💛 She Recovers Certified Professional I am currently a trained End of Life Doula, with a focus on grief support for sudden loss & substance use/addiction loss. I am also a Certified Professional for the She Recovers Foundation, a global nonprofit organization for women/NB individuals in or seeking recovery. My dream is to help those who are in or seeking recovery, find the right connections and pathways for them. To help those who may be struggling with a deep loss from suicide, overdoses, or other substance use/addiction related deaths. I have lost people close to me in addiction, and I have lost myself in addiction. I want to the end the stigma on addiction and I want the world to know, We Do Recover!

Life is everchanging and flowing.

It's been awhile since I've posted because life has taken a new trajectory, as life does.
It never goes quite as expected but it always goes as needed.

Whether I know it at the time or not.

And as I let old beliefs and ways of being and versions of myself die, I find more pieces of my true self.

After all, DEATH is an opportunity for REBIRTH.

So as I move on towards who I am meant to be,

I have written a chapter on in a published collaborative book called, "The Lost Art Of Being Human" ...

My chapter touches on the many versions of ourselves die in our lifetime.

And the powerful impact on humanity we can have if we can ACCEPT these deaths as a natural part of our lives.

The book is officially out NOW!
Each chapter is dedicated to a deep part of what it means to be human

When exploring the universe, discovering all the BIG, little things that make you, YOU - you inevitably find the little things and opportunities that aren't meant for YOU, no matter how fiercely you want them to be so

(If you're open, the universe always steers you in the right direction ♾️)

It stings and you overthink the lost opportunities, the "what-ifs" and "should haves," and you drive yourself crazy asking:

"Should I just give up? Do something where the trail has already been blazed?"

And hopefully that feeling in your stomach you get when you're about to let yourself down lights up like a wildfire, and tells you that these are the moments when you DON'T give up.

These are the moments where we don't just grow-we expand.
We push past our own limits and fears and develop a sense of certainty in the "I don't know how, but I know I will."

I made a promise to myself as a young kid-that when I'm 80 years old, I'm not going to look back and have one single regret.
I won't allow any "I could have achieved this if I had only..."
It's not built in my bones

My path may have taken quite a bit of turns and detours and being released by things that weren't aligned with my true nature.

Some of those things were in my control and some were not.

But even when I refused to see it, the universe has always been working FOR me, not against me.

The messages = clarity ✨️

The universe wants you to shine your light.

The universe wants to see you abundant and happy and at peace ☮️ with yourself.

All it asks in return is that you embody all that is LOVE ❤️

I read something this morning on

ACCOUNTABILITY

This woman, Liz, said she doesn't have a problem with accountabilty, in fact, she thrives on it, and it keeps her sober.

She has a problem with "the fact that the decisions and choices she thought she wanted at 23, take precedence over the life she wants now, at 33."

And this is true for a lot of us.

There are 3 things I have always been sure of :

1. I'm going to study human minds & behaviors, especially in the addiction realm 🧠

2. I'm going to help people 🍂

3. I'm going to change the world 🌍

However, after years through the standard American school systems, when it was time to go to college & declare a major, I was repeatedly told :

"There is no money in psychology."

"You have to start from the bottom and get all of your own clients;build a practice from the ground up."

"You want to help people. Well, you would make a great nurse, and there's always a need for nurses."

Nursing it was.

Surprise! Nursing wasn't my soul calling.

So I started missing classes.

My partying got so out of control that I ended up dropping out of college a year and a half later and moving back home.

That was over a decade ago, and after too many harsh & traumatic lessons...

I am now wholeheartedly embracing my true calling & purpose.

My own recovery business is blossoming 🌸

I am leading a multi-author book on resilient women in recovery with an established publishing company 📖

I will graduate with my degree in Psychology this coming summer 👨‍🎓

We can do ANYTHING we set our minds to.

Regardless of what the naysayers, haters, and complete non-believers want to project onto our dreams, we have the power within us to respectfully tell these people to F-right-off.

So, I encourage us all to ask ourselves:

"When we allow people to be better? Not for themselves or their loved ones, but for society as a whole? "

💜Dear Family & Friends🩵

Many of you know how important su***de awareness and prevention is to me.

Part of my life's work is to end su***de by educating and bringing awareness to our communities on just how REAL and devastating su***de is.

How necessary it is for us to have ACCESSIBLE and RELIABLE resources for human beings who are struggling to find hope.

If you're local to Placer County - join the AFSP's Out of The Darkness Walk on Saturday 10/5 (it's free to register!)

And if you are able, please donate below - all proceeds go towards the AFSP and the mission to ***de

I will include a link in comments to specifically donate to 'Team Dante' - my littlest sister's dear friend who died by su***de at 16 years old in Dec, 2022. 🩵💜

Please support the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention to help save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de. Donate or register to walk!

I'm partnering with the wonderful AMA Publishing and leading my multi-author book!

This book & its purpose represents all women in recovery & healing and creates a community of connection for other humans who may be struggling to overcome their own traumas.

Sharing our stories, the good, the bad, & the ugly, allows us to shatter stigmas associated with trauma, addiction, loss & grief, mental health challenges, chronic illnesses, and so many more that tend to make us feel so alone and ashamed to share in the first place.

In opening up a vulernable piece of ourselves, about our stories of resilience and recovery, we create a safe space for others to find hope and healing on their journey's!

This is a divine opportunity for women & individuals who identify with women's communities, who are spiritual entrepreneurs and have a story of overcoming trauma, are ready to "Recover Outloud" & become a published, bestselling author in 2025!

Are you one of these leading women ready to contribute your story?

Or do you know someone who may be perfectly aligned for this?

✨️ Send me a message ✨️

September is Recovery Month!

There are over 41 million women in the US alone that struggle with substance use, trauma, and mental health challenges.

We are all in recovery from something.

No one has had the perfect life.

A "perfect" life doesn't exist.

But a beautiful life does.

An inspiring life.

A 'leave-no-stone-unturned' life.

A life that can be so tragic, you have no choice but to let that version of yourself die.

And to go on and find beauty in the healing.

To find the wonders that come from the darkest of places.

Thank all the versions of yourself for doing the best they could, with what they had, and with what they knew at the time.

Show extra compassion and kindness to other human beings, whose shoes we've never walked in and probably wouldn't want to if given the choice.

In a world where you can be anything, be LOVE ❤️
