Health Without Barriers invites families with teens to participate in this family-focused wellness program designed to support teens and their caregivers with practical tools, education, and healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Hello everyone! Recently SCT has started a nonprofit branch called SCT’s Community Access and Support Initiative (CASI). Our mission is to remove barriers to mental healthcare for children and families in rural communities by providing direct assistance, access to specialized services, and community base resources that promotes stability, dignity, and well-being.

SCT‘s CASI is bringing a free in person training series to Cortez in Fall 2026. This training will be led by Dr. Robert Jason Grant, who’s the founder of AutPlay!!

Here’s a flyer, giving more details about the upcoming training. However, we need your input! If you’re interested in attending, please complete this survey that will give us feedback to plan the training accordingly to your needs!

Diaper Pick-Up Day!

Montezuma County families—it's time for our monthly Diaper Pick-Up!

Thursday, March 19
Noon – 1:00 PM
Montezuma County Public Health Department (103 N Chestnut St. in Cortez)

If you have a child in diapers, you may receive up to 50 diapers per child each month. Sizes 0–6 are available while supplies last.

Open to Montezuma County residents
Bring your own bag
Please plan to pick up only for your own family

This program helps support local families and make sure little ones stay happy, healthy, and dry.
