🏋️‍♀️👂 Happy National Exercise Day! Did you know that isn't just about getting fit? It also plays a crucial role in maintaining , which is closely tied to hearing loss!

Reduced can disrupt your brain's spatial processing, making it harder to pinpoint sound sources and heightening the risk of falls. Even a mild hearing loss can triple this risk!

Feeling a bit unsteady? Try the Sit-to-Stand exercise from Johns Hopkins:

1. Sit on a sturdy chair with feet flat on the ground. Scoot forward to the front of the seat. Make sure to have a solid support surface in front of you for stability if needed.
2. Lean forward and rise slowly to stand.
3. Lower back down with control. Do 10 reps, twice daily. Add hand weights for an extra challenge!

Yesterday, our Elmira team had a great time observing the ! ☀️Ensuring their , they diligently wore special glasses, and we hope you did too. Remember, eye care is essential every day, not just during celestial events! 😎 Simple measures like wearing a hat, UV protection sunglasses, and refraining from direct sun gazing can make a big difference.
