Hey! It’s been a minute Project Seth community! Everybody OK out there in the world? 💜
Today is World Kindness Day! That means we have the chance to do something big or small for someone else that makes them feel seen. It’s a reminder that we have the ability to be thoughtful not knowing what someone is going through.

Today recognizes bullying in America. Sadly, 1 in 5 children experience bullying in schools whether related to their gender, appearance of weakness, being seen as different, maybe having a disability...the reasons don't really matter. A bully focuses on someone and only they know the reason.
Bullying impacts the abused in ways that can change their livelihood, relationships with family and friends, create ongoing mental health concerns including depression and suicidal thoughts.
Please don't feel that you're alone. People believe in you and love you unconditionally.
If you are abused, talk with a parent, counselor, or reach out to 988 for assistance.
If you are a bully, we hope you find compassion and commonality with your peers. No one deserves to feel unwanted, undervalued, or hated for their differences or what makes them unique.

Each day there could be someone in your life that struggles with depression and potentially suicidal thoughts. The signs may be there and being familiar with what to look for can save a life.
We want to share those Warning Signs with you again and hope you will keep these handy and remember you have the ability to help. Seeing three or more of these changes in a person over the course of a month, two months, three months...it's time to take action and reach out. Asking if someone is OK, if they want to just sit, maybe talk, or just breathe can take a moment of your day that is life changing for someone else.
Always know, 988 is available if you or someone you know needs mental health assistance!

It’s also a time to really consider if you need help. Take time this month to be kind to others and yourself. Show generosity and fill your heart with grace.
You are here for a reason. It’s you we need.
