👉 MRI Tech James Braudrick noticed something unusual during a patient’s outpatient MRI test and alerted the radiologist. This quick thinking enabled the patient to get immediate attention and appropriate treatment. Thank you, James, for being an excellent role model in patient care. ❤️

👉 Family Medicine Physician Cate Whitlach, MD, has worked at Samaritan Lincoln City Medical Center since February 2023. This is the second time in little over a year that she has been selected, based on nominations from very happy patients.

Dr. Emily Looney believes in the small comforts like music, warmth and connection. 🎵

As Medical Director of Samaritan Evergreen Hospice, she’s seen how donations help make those moments possible through massage therapy, music and programs that bring peace to patients and families.

She gives back through annual donations, serves on the Clinician Advisory Council and shares her love of music by performing at hospice events with her woodwind group. 🎷

👏 Congratulations to Royal Smith, RN, at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center’s ICU, who has been named Samaritan Health Services’ first-ever systemwide Preceptor of the Year! Royal was surprised on his unit by managers and Valley Region leaders in recognition of his outstanding mentorship and leadership in nursing education.
