Dates are set for MotherCircle fall 2024!
We will be meeting (virtually) at 7pm on Thursdays (we will meet a different time on Halloween - TBD)
All replays will be sent out if you can’t make it live!
Sliding scale offered (link in bio)
This class is 75 minutes (although I suggest blocking out 90 minutes if possible, in case we go slightly over)

MotherCircle is for Mothers in all stages of motherhood! (Pregnant mamas to grandmothers). This work is also beneficial for birth workers as they support women in their new role as mothers.
Curious about the topics? Swipe and see the themes for each week!
Join this like-minded community to witness and be witnessed in our Motherhood Journeys.

Last week the Surgeon General declared parental stress and a significant health issue! “4 in 10 parents are so stressed they cannot function” - ouch! Although it is almost painful to read those statistics, unfortunately many of us are likely not surprised 😔
In the groups of women I surround myself with, we often get in conversations of what can be done on both an individual level and societal level. We often conclude that is to “find your people” and “find your tribe”. But what if you haven’t? Or maybe you have, but often find it difficult to dive into the more meaningful conversations in life.
I get it. Being a mom is SO hard! It is so busy! But what if you could carve out only 75 minutes for yourself? Every week. For 8 weeks. What would you gain? With these opportunities for support in your motherhood journey, would it be easier to show up as the best version of yourself for you and your kids?

MotherCircle anchored me during some of the hardest times of my life. This has become one of my biggest passions. I hope to see you there 🤍

When a baby is born, a mother is also born.

My road to becoming a mother wasn’t a simple one. I struggled with both of my conceptions. Both of my births went in directions I never expected. My postpartum experience was rocky and lonely.

When I look at my pictures, there is a “before”… a before motherhood. Immediately I notice the physical difference- a smaller version of myself in the before. Even the sound of my voice has changed since becoming a mother. My maiden experience embodied Yang energy. Outward, sunny, bright, and even naive.

And then there is the “after”. The bigger, fuller, and deeper version of myself. You could argue my mother experience has been a very Yin experience. Much more inward, quiet, soft and retreated. Maybe the mother (or “after”) version of myself could be seen as less desirable in society.

When my first daughter was born over 5 years ago, this version of myself was also born- I have experienced the simultaneous depth of love and grief that only mothers know.

Motherhood has a way of building and breaking me again and again. I am forever bowing to mothers 🤍

A few Google reviews from my last MotherCircle 🥰

One of my teachers, Usha from Womben Wellness would often say “What I teach teaches me” and that was my experience facilitating MotherCircle.
As the facilitator, I provide the space and container in which each mother can safely express and be witnessed in their motherhood journey.
What I took away from MotherCircle was much more than I taught. Each week left me feeling deeply nourished and full of gratitude for those who participated.

I can’t wait to begin again in September! 🤍

This photo was taken 4 hours after my second baby was born. A 34+ hour labor left me exhausted and ended in an unexpected c-section. It was not the birth I expected to put it plainly.
I look at this image with some much love and compassion. My big, soft belly- almost looking like it misses my baby inside. My sleeping newborn snuggled up beside what had been her home the previous 9 months.
Although it was the birth I never anticipated, I am forever grateful as I learned such a deep lesson of surrender, and feel more equipped to help future c-section mamas in my doula practice.

Birth inevitably takes its own path, despite what we have planned. If you are looking for support during your pregnancy, labor or birth- message me 🤍 I’d love to support you.

This Thursday is my first womb circle for any woman or person who has had a first period!
When I sat in my first circle with this topic, I couldn’t believe the things that came up for me. It was beautiful and emotional. I didn’t have the support I needed as an 11 year old girl. I have since reflected on how I want that to look different for my daughters and their first periods.
If you’ve never sat in circle before, this is an easy and gentle one! Questions? Message me!

I was 11 years old, and I’ll never forget. We were having a huge pool party in my backyard and I ran inside to go to the bathroom. I pulled down my underwear and I saw the red/brown stain. I cried and felt betrayed by my body.

Healing my relationship with my period wasn’t quick or easy. I have had multiple therapy and energy work sessions around the topic of my period.

Years later, I love my period. She’s my monthly health report card. She’s my friend, giving me the gentle reminder of rest.

My first Womb Circle is “Healing Your First Period Story”. If you ever felt like your period was dirty, gross, embarrassing, or shameful, this circle is for you!

Expect singing, journal prompts, sharing, and connection with other women as we gather on Thursday, April 11 at 7pm PDT via zoom.

Sliding scale cost of $11-$22 Venmo to -tide-leather (if you don’t have Venmo, message me for other options!)

My heart is so full as we enter our last week of MotherCircle together.
It was so beautiful to see and reaffirm that MotherCircle is truly for mothers in all stages!
Soon-to-be moms need MotherCircle!
Mothers to young children need MotherCircle! Seasoned moms with older children need MotherCircle!
And yes, even our elders and grandmothers have a place in MotherCircle!

I already feeling that new energy inside of me to plan for the next round! Are you needing community? A deeper meaning and connection to your role in Motherhood? Wanting to revisit that younger version of yourself that was once in the throes of motherhood? Together we bring some of those hidden gems in our stories of Motherhood up to the surface- not only for ourselves, but also for the collective.

Whatever stage you are in, there is space for you in MotherCircle - and we want you there!

Why do we try to heal?
Heal our relationship with being a mother? Heal our own mother wound? Heal the disconnect with our womb? Heal our relationship with rest? Heal our birth story?

I started this work for me. I do it for me and continue to do it for my daughters. I do it for my mom and my grandmothers. I do it for my sisters and for my friends. Because I’ve always been able to sense when a woman around me is healing, and that inspires me in turn to also begin to heal those areas with myself. Beginning to heal ourselves not only heals us, it heals our ancestral line and all women in the collective.

Our last week together - MotherCode - we discuss our lineage and core values.
Together we will look inward and discern what stories/patterns we want to carry forward in our family line and what we want to leave behind.
We have a powerful opportunity, every day, to imagine the legacy we’d like to leave for our children, grandchildren, and so on.

Why Wise Womb Motherhood?
Although I am passionate and LOVE all things motherhood, pregnancy, birth, baby, and so on, I knew I couldn’t limit myself to only working with mothers.
Long before I became a mother, my journey to motherhood began. As someone who was trying to heal my PCOS, conceive naturally, etc. I became OBSESSED with my womb.
What I thought would be a journey of healing physical symptoms took me beyond my physical body. The journey became much larger as it became an ancestral journey, an energetic journey, a nervous system journey, and reconnecting with myself and my personal power.
Although I wouldn’t consider myself a “womb healer” (I believe the only person capable of healing your womb is you!), I want to help build the bridge for women to reconnect with themselves!
WOMB CIRCLES are coming next this month! They are for any person with a womb- and will cover many different topics (healing your first period story, your relationship with rest, healing from miscarriage, healing your generational stories, and many more!)
