Our partners at Oregon Department of Human Services recently announced that November SNAP benefits may be delayed if the federal government shutdown continues. About 757,000 Oregonians could be impacted, including children, older adults, and working families.

Oregonians impacted by these delays can visit the ODHS Food Resources webpage to find local programs and food support: https://needfood.oregon.gov

You can also call or text 2-1-1 or visit 211info.org for up-to-date local resources.

Older adults and people with disabilities can contact Aging and Disability Resource Connection of Oregon (ADRC) at 1-855-673-2372 or visit www.adrcoforegon.org to find resources.

Follow Oregon Department of Human Services for updates posted to their social media channels.

Walk Wednesday - We are incredibly grateful to our Hemostasis Thrombosis Center (HTC) partners for their continued dedication and support—not just in the clinic, but out in the community as well.

Their Unite Walk team, Smells Like HEME Spirit, shows up year after year with enthusiasm, heart, and a deep commitment to the bleeding disorders community. From fundraising to walking alongside families, they go above and beyond to make sure no one walks this journey alone.

To our HTC heroes: thank you for being unwavering champions for our community—in care and in spirit. Your passion and partnership make a real difference every step of the way. 👣❤️
