Benco Benco is a non-profit organization that provides support & services to people who have IDD Benco operates under a Board of Directors.

The Executive Director oversees all general operations and reports to the Board of Directors. Benco serves and provides support to adults with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities in all aspects of the individuals life. We provide a safe and caring environment and encourage the individuals to live a healthy lifestyle. We provide housing and staff for each individual to help with his or her day to day living. Benco assists each individual we serve with accessing State and Government help such as, Social Security, Supplemental Security Income, Adult and Family services and Mental Health Services. We assist each individual with medications, accessing doctors and any other medical, mental or behavioral support the individual my need. Benco provides transportation and/or transportation resources, companionship and community outings to all of the individuals we serve. We provide an Alternative to Employment Program to individuals that are unable to work in a typical job setting. This program develops paid job opportunities as well as provides skill building activities for those individuals who are not able to engage in paid work.

What a fantastic start to summer at Benco! Our staff and residents have been making the most of the sunshine -- coming together for a memorable Memorial Day BBQ and a lively game night at Old World Deli. There's nothing quite like sharing good food, laughter, and a little friendly competition to strengthen our sense of community.

At Benco, being in service to others is all about connection and good old fun. We're grateful for every moment spent building friendships and making memories together. Here's to many more sunny days and joyful gatherings ahead! ❤️

Congratulations to Thomas Thompson, Benco's Employee of the Month for April 2025!
Thomas has been a long time staff at Support Living and is reliable and consistent support for the individuals we serve, showing up everyday, on time for them. He is always trying to get them out into the community or into nature. He models healthy living and encourages good choices. He listens to them with empathy and understanding and celebrates their successes. He has helped guide an individual toward his dream of finding a more fulfilling career path and helped several others problem solve interpersonal issues. He often takes it upon himself to communicate with community partners and family members to get important documents signed or collected to bring to the Program Coordinator. In addition to his amazing support to the individuals, he is always willing to take on extra tasks to help out at the program, like running to the store to replenish the water jugs, taking out the trash, shredding papers, going to the bottle drop, going to the car wash and fueling the cars. He is very appreciated here at Supported Living!

Requirements:

✔️ High School Diploma or GED
✔️ Valid Driver’s License
✔️ DSP experience
