Even as Cervical Cancer Awareness Month comes to an end, keep taking care of your health—get screened for cervical cancer.

The Oregon ScreenWise Program helps reduce cancer burden and health inequities in Oregon through early detection, evidence-based care, risk factor screening, education, access to medical treatment and surveillance.

Measles has been detected in the Corvallis-Lewisburg area through wastewater monitoring.

This means that there is, or has recently been, at least one person with the measles virus within the Corvallis-Lewisburg area.

Currently, no confirmed measles cases have been reported in Benton County.

Our public health officials are acting swiftly with our partners to monitor and contain the spread.

The West Coast Health Alliance (WCHA) endorses the 2026 American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Recommended Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule, as do professional medical and health organizations representing more than 1 million health care providers, reflecting a broad consensus on the safety and benefits of the recommended immunizations.

The WCHA believes the AAP Immunization Schedule should continue to serve as the foundation for the immunizations routinely recommended by healthcare providers and guide conversations between providers and families.
