Heart of the Valley Birth and Beyond Heart of the Valley Birth Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of an OOH

Heart of the Valley Birth Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of an out of hospital birth center serving Benton and Linn Counties. The birthing center will not only be a place for women to give birth but a place for women to support each other and receive services for birth and beyond. It is a model of health and empowerment through self care and community for women in Linn and Benton counties. Based on the Dutch model of maternity care; Midwifery based, supporting safe options, decreasing interventions, improving postpartum support and services. We also support the concept of Optimal Childbirth; birth with as few interventions as possible, with a healthy mother and baby as a result, and a satisfied feeling when looking back on the experience.
