We are proud to welcome Justin Morgan, DO to Wayne County Hospital as the ED Medical Director. Dr. Morgan is a board-certified family medicine physician with experience providing full-spectrum care in both rural and community settings across Kansas and Iowa. He completed his medical degree at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences and his family medicine residency training at Via Christi. He has also served in faculty roles with the University of Kansas School of Medicine–Wichita and the Wichita State Physician Associate Program. Outside of work, Dr. Morgan enjoys spending time with family, friends, and church, along with basketball and the outdoors. Welcome, Dr. Morgan!

Preventive Ultrasound Screenings are now available!

These screenings are offered on select dates only, with the first date this Friday, January 30th.

💲 $75 per screening
✔️ Payment due in full on the day of your appointment
❗Preventive screenings only (not billed to insurance)

⬇️ Read below to learn more about each screening and who should consider it:

🫀 Carotid Artery Screening
Checks for plaque buildup in the arteries that supply blood to the brain, helping assess stroke risk.
• Recommended for adults 50+ or those with high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking history, or family history of stroke

🩺 Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening
Screens for enlargement of the abdominal aorta, which can be serious if undetected.
• Recommended for men and women 65+ or anyone with a family history of AAA or history of smoking

🦋 Thyroid Screening
Looks for nodules or abnormalities in the thyroid gland that can affect hormone levels.
• Recommended for adults with family history of thyroid disease or those with unexplained fatigue, weight changes, or neck swelling

🦵 Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) Screening
Assesses blood flow in the legs to screen for peripheral artery disease (PAD).
• Recommended for adults 50+ or those with diabetes, smoking history, leg pain with walking, or circulation concerns
