We have been a little quiet on here lately but wanted you to know we haven't stopped painting rocks to place! We are waiting for some restrictions to be lifted at parks before placing rocks again. We wanted to show you these Brooklyn worked very hard on that will be placed hopefully soon and also share the sweetest Thank you we received along with a gift card to purchase more paints! Thank you so much Mel and Grant!! ❤❤

On another note we also received a photo last week of a very large water snake sunning itself on the nature walking trail just south of the elementary. While we know this is their home we don't want to put anyone in danger, we ask you to please be careful to anyone that may be out walking and finding rocks. Please be aware of your surroundings. Hope to see you all out and about very soon!!

Brooklyn says, "let's play the alphabet game!" Brooklyn spent time painting a rock to represent each letter of the alphabet. These rocks we ask that you do not take home, but instead have your child make a list at home with each letter of the alphabet. Bring your list with you and go to the walking trail south of the Wayne Elementary and begin your hike around the path. Each time your child finds a new letter, have them put an X next to it on their alphabet sheet. We are incorporating learning with exercise in this fun activity. Again, we ask that you please do not take these rocks from the trail to allow others to join the fun! Please share this post to spread the word!

Question for our followers, our mama spent some time painting this weekend helping us prepare more rocks to be placed for the rock hunters. Where do you most enjoy walking to find the rocks? Walden Park, Around the Courthouse in Corydon, the nature walking trail south of Wayne Elementary or Corydon Lake Park? Please pick your top two places so we can focus placement in these areas.

Haven't seen anyone post a photo of this Up inspired rock Brooklyn painted. Has this been found yet? If not, I shall give you a hint. . .it's across from the Wayne County Hospital at Walden Park. Happy hunting!

Rocks have been placed! Happy rock scavenging! We will continue to paint new rocks and place them in new places in the upcoming weeks. We even found someone else's rock while we were placing our own which made us so happy! Don't forget to snap a photo and share on our page when you find one!

In a time where we are searching for ways to fill our time while keeping social distance, what better time to begin a project to spread love, peace and happiness. These rocks have been painted along with others and will be placed all around the City of Corydon courthouse yard, Walden Park, Corydon Lake Park and the nature trail south of Wayne Elementary School. We placed them hoping they can provide joy while you are outdoors enjoying beautiful days ahead while keeping social distance from others through this time. We encourage you, should you find a rock to snap a photo of it and share to our page along with the location. You are welcome to take the rock home for your continued enjoyment or move the rock to a new location for someone else to find. We would love for you to spread the love and joy. Paint your own rocks to hide or go on a scavenger hunt and see how many you can find.
