The Soccer Organization of the Coshocton County Area (SOCCA) was founded to provide a recreational environment for youth to learn and enjoy the game of soccer. The SOCCA organization was founded on the principals of good sportsmanship, respect, team ethics and fun, with the objective of teaching children the basics of soccer. SOCCA Season is upon us! At the Mancave we are so thankful our youth have an outlet and the opportunity to be involved in something. We only ask that you respect our business and leave us the area in red for our customers. We've been fortunate to never have a need to utilize the towing services in our area and hope that trend continues.

We also want to remind you, Dalcin and Camden will be in the shop for walk-ins beginning at 11 am. So after the game, stop in and see them to get your weekend haircut taken care of!

Coaches! Here are the schedules for the Fall session... Please reach out to the families on your rosters to make sure everyone is coming back. If you have players who are not returning from the spring, please let us know which team you are how many players you need.

We will do our best to fill the teams from our waiting list. We are looking forward to another great season!

There was a phone found today after 9am games. If it’s yours it will be at the concession stand.

We also have a bunch of water bottles.

SOCCA Picture packets are completed and ready for distribution. A coach from each team will need to stop by and pick up their whole team's pictures from Mrs. Lori Hart tomorrow. Please do this before your game to get the pictures passed out to your families before you leave the game.

Lori will be over by Field 1 with all the pictures bundles by teams. Please tell her your team grade and color. She will get you all the pictures to pass out to families.

We still have some flooding in certain areas. It would be better to come early and park. Please be aware of exits to lots and be courteous to others when parking.

If parking by the barbershop lot, you will need to walk around water and cross to the fields by the road. Please be careful!

Updated 4/5 at 7:45a - All games are now canceled due to flooding in the parking areas and the fields with a forecast of more heavy rain.
We are still on for games at this point for 4/5!

We play in the rain for SOCCA, but we do cancel for extreme weather or lightning and thunder.

If we do ever cancel for any reason, we will put it out online and on WTNS Radio. Our staff will be out to check the fields and surrounding areas at 8a tomorrow and will monitor weather to make a decision.

With our first Saturday of games coming up, we wanted to update the field layout for this year!

Some notes:
-Field 4 is back after a long hiatus!
-The preschool fields will be located behind Field 3 again (by the path to the footbridge).
-Please leave the marked spaces by the barbershop open for their customers. That is a towaway zone (at the car owner's expense).
-Please do not park along SR 83 on either side of the road. This is not a legal parking area.
-This year, there is expanded parking in the grass behind the Canal Boat lot. It is mowed and open for parking, but it does get muddy when it rains. Be careful.
-Auxillary parking is available at the Pavilion (follow the towpath back to the fields).

This is our updated picture schedule. Please use your child's Grade, Team Letter, and Team Color to find your picture time.

It is important to get to pictures about five minutes before your scheduled time to allow time to organize the players and picture envelopes. Even if you aren't buying pictures, you should participate in the team picture!

These are the schedules for the spring session. Coaches' meeting is tonight at 7p.

The coaches should share info with you by March 10th. Once you get your team letter and/or color, you can use these schedules to schedule your Saturdays.

Coaches will also contact you with the practice day and time.

Remember, we have the same teams for spring and fall for PK-5th. 6th-12th will only play the spring session.

03/03/2025

Info will go out to families later this week. We have our coaches meeting Wednesday, and they will have all the paperwork and equipment after that.

Please do not message our page asking for team info unless your coaches haven't contacted you by 3/10.

Practices should begin for K-6th the week before games begin (games begin on March 22nd).

PK will practice and play their games on Saturdays at the same time.

Reminder to COACHES. We have our coaches' meeting on Wednesday at 7p. Michelle Beitzel should have send you the information.

We are finalizing schedules and rosters for the 2025 Spring and Fall sessions.

We have about 75 more players than last year! We are adding an extra field to accommodate more practices and games at the fields at Lake Park. It will be a great year!

When the info is ready, we will get the rosters and schedules out to coaches and post schedules online for families. Games will begin on March 22nd and go until May 3rd with a week off at Easter. Practices will start the week before games for K-12th and PS teams will have a short practice and play their games on Saturday mornings.

We will have a coaches meeting scheduled and contact coaches to get them all the orientation info and equipment for the season.

We can't wait to start kickin' it on Saturdays this Spring!
