No one ever talks about how hard it is to leave
when you’re the one who always stays…
the one who overgives, over explains, over forgives…
the one who’s scared of being abandoned, so you abandon yourself first.

It takes courage to walk away from someone who you once thought will be your forever partner.

You can love someone deeply…
and still walk away.
Because at some point, you realize loving them was costing you you.

And let’s be real…
people will judge, gossip, and create their own versions of your story
without ever knowing what you cried about and what happened behind closed doors.

People will talk no matter what.
So you might as well be the “villain” who chose her peace.

Healing isn’t linear.
Some days you feel free, light, and finally okay.
Other days you miss them, you’re sad, you question everything.
Both are part of it. Both are valid.
