Do you ever wonder if you’re performing a proper warm-up?
Here’s a simple, structured warm-up routine I use personally and with my patients before training. 👇

1️⃣ Light Aerobic Activity – Get your heart rate up (treadmill, rower, jump rope, etc.)
2️⃣ Mobility – Focus on your personal restrictions. In this video I’m working on windshield wipers + sleeper stretch.
3️⃣ Dynamic Stretches – Hit your major muscle groups, keep it moving!
4️⃣ Primer – Activate what your body tends to under-recruit (mine: glutes + lats).
5️⃣ Exercise-Specific Sets – Start light, groove the pattern, and build up to your working weight.

A warm-up should make you feel ready, not tired.

One of the easiest ways to stay consistent with clean eating is to simplify your meal prep. My favorite hack? Cook once, eat twice. When I make dinner, I always prepare enough for at least one more meal - usually lunch the next day.

✅ Keeps you on track with your goals
✅ Reduces decision fatigue

Depending on how many people you’re cooking for, you can batch even more meals for the week. Small systems like this make clean eating way less overwhelming and way more doable long term!

This race was unforgettable for so many reasons! Completing a Spartan Trifecta was on my brother Jordan’s bucket list—this meant completing the Sprint (5k + 20 obstacles), Super (10k + 25 obstacles), and Beast (21k + 30 obstacles) all in one year. AND WE DID IT!!!

The best part was for this final race, we talked all my siblings into joining us. Through the challenges, the grind, blood and sweat, we leaned on each other every step of the way. Crossing that finish line hand in hand was a moment I’ll never forget.

Feeling so blessed to have the ability to train and compete in these types of events and excited for more to come:)
