Lori has been involved in some form of fitness most of her life; as a child she participated in karate, soccer and dance, now, this native of Orange County enjoys anything that allows her to get outside and take advantage of her beautiful hometown - whether riding her bike on the beach or hiking in the hills. Lori started out in the medical field and witnessed firsthand the ill health brought on b

y the standard American diet and lack of exercise. It was then she decided to redirect her career and take a “preventative” approach to health. Lori became a certified personal trainer in 2001 and has been happily changing lives ever since. She trains clients throughout Orange County; at gyms, parks and in her client’s homes. She is also a registered holistic nutritionist, yoga teacher, LA Nutrition Examiner and published author for Livestrong and other health resources. Lori is very passionate about teaching people (especially children) the importance of proper nutrition and physical activity. One of Lori’s aspirations is to help change school cafeteria standards. Because of proper diet and exercise, Lori feels more comfortable in her body now than she did in her youth! She is also a firm believer that it takes more than exercise to be “fit”. Lori has learned through her own life that the essence of a happy and healthy lifestyle is not only rooted in physical fitness, but diet and mental strengthening as well!!

I made a little (already known) discovery tonight, as I was hula hooping... We are all one-sided dominant! I normally hoop to the right, but when I tried to hoop to the left, it was like trying to eat or write with the wrong hand. So, I encourage you to work the other side of your body, to help create balance! You don't have to apply it to hula hooping, but to your everyday activities! Wear your purse on the opposite shoulder, open the door with the opposite hand, Etc. Be well and balanced!!! xoxo 😉

I've had a few friends and clients asking if I still do meal prep, the answer to that question is yes! I usually have my client go shopping with me for the groceries, supply me with containers of their choice, I prep the meals on Sunday, and then they're ready Sunday night / Monday morning for pickup or delivery.

So good!!!
