Dear Resurface Community,

Eight years ago, Resurface Group was founded on a radical idea: that true healing doesn’t happen in a bubble. We believed meaningful change happens in real life.

Thanks to the trust you’ve placed in us, that idea has grown into a movement. We’ve had the honor of serving hundreds of families across California, Texas, and virtually, proving that a life-based, family-focused model can restore hope where it once felt lost.

As a founder, my responsibility is to ensure Resurface continues to grow and evolve. With immense pride and full confidence, I’m sharing that I am transitioning from CEO to the Leadership Board. This allows me to focus on long-term strategy while entrusting day-to-day leadership to someone exceptionally prepared for this moment.

I’m honored to announce that Chelsea Reeves has been appointed as the new CEO of Resurface Group.

For many of you, Chelsea needs no introduction. She has been a heartbeat of this organization for seven years. For those just meeting her, I’m proud to introduce the leader who will guide us forward.

Chelsea is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist & Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. In an industry often led by administrators, Resurface remains clinician-led guided by someone who understands both the science of healing and the depth of human experience.

With over 20 years in behavioral health and having begun her own recovery journey at 19, Chelsea leads with empathy, authenticity, and lived experience. She embodies the Resurface spirit: innovative, compassionate, and deeply committed to treating not just symptoms, but the entire ecosystem.

What does this mean for our community? Resurface is growing stronger. While I continue supporting our mission from the Board, Chelsea will lead daily operations, clinical vision, and future growth.
