New Directions For Women Women, women with children and pregnant women are welcome at our nationally recognized, certified, oldest gender-specific addiction treatment center in OC.

New Directions for Women is a gender-specific facility exclusively for women suffering from drug and alcohol abuse, chemical dependency, and other addictive disorders. We offer addiction detox and rehab services for women, pregnant women, and women with children. We believe that all women deserve care despite their ability to pay for treatment. Every woman and child who comes through our doors rec

eives some amount of scholarship funds. Our aim is to raise half a million dollars a year, which goes directly to the Pamela Wilder Scholarship Fund to ensure more women and their children are able to receive the quality treatment they need. By providing exceptional, gender-separate and specific addiction treatment services that are grounded in 12-Step principles, New Directions for Women assists women, families and their children to achieve sustained responsible recovery from addiction.

New Directions for Women is committed to making high-quality treatment accessible to every woman seeking recovery. By partnering with a wide range of insurance providers, we’re able to remove barriers and help more women get the care and support they deserve.

New Directions for Women is a nonprofit residential treatment center dedicated exclusively to women facing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. With a gender-specific approach, the program addresses the unique experiences and challenges women encounter in recovery, including trauma, relationships, and family dynamics. Through a combination of evidence-based therapies, holistic care, and a strong sense of community, New Directions for Women empowers clients to heal, rebuild, and create lasting, meaningful change in their lives.

Since 1977, we’ve been dedicated to transforming the lives of women facing substance use challenges. Located on 3.5 peaceful acres in Costa Mesa, we provide a safe, supportive space for healing and growth.
