Join us this Friday at Lifelines as we welcome special guest speaker Ashley Drake of The Family Recovery Foundation!

Ashley’s passion is to aid in the recovery process of those suffering from addiction as well as their loved ones caught in the vicious cycle.

Her motivation to help others is rooted in her own recovery. In 2010, Ashley entered treatment for polysubstance use and began her recovery journey. She has been in recovery for 13 years and continues to work a 12-step program. She is dedicated to giving back to addicts, families, and communities what she has been given.

Ashley earned an MA in Ministry at Carolina University, magna cm laude; a BS in Psychology at Bethel University, summa cm laude; and an Associate’s degree in Sociology at Nashville State Community College, summa cm laude. She is a member of Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Honor Society of Leadership and Success.

It is with the heaviest of hearts we share that longtime Lifelines Team Leader Haidee Barker has left us to be with the Lord. Haidee was an amazing and compassionate woman of God who leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and service to others. A memorial service to celebrate Haidee’s life is forthcoming and we’ll announce the date as soon as it is confirmed. Please keep Haidee’s daughter Nicole in your prayers.

Join us this Friday at Lifelines as we kick off a month focused on Step 3 with special guest speaker Wesley Geer!

Wesley Geer is a guitarist, author, and speaker, and the founder of Rock to Recovery® and BandJAM—groundbreaking music-based programs that help individuals struggling with mental health challenges and emotional distortions channel their stories into song. A former guitarist for Korn and founder of (hed) p.e., Wes has been sober for over 18 years and now dedicates his life to service, using his voice and music as vehicles for healing, connection, and purpose. His talks on living in the “Vortex of Radness” explore unlocking personal potential through shadow work, Spirit, and service.

Joining him is Matthew Bartosch, vocalist of HU3M3N, an alternative electro-rock project built around themes of existential tension, addiction, and personal reckoning. Together, Wes and Matt bring stripped-down versions of their music into conscious spaces—blending performance with lived experience—where the line between rock show and personal testimony is intentionally blurred.

Doors open at 6:50 PM this Friday at The Crossing Church in Costa Mesa. All are invited to attend this open meeting.
