Yogis say everything in life happens for our experience or “liberation” (growth). If we learn from our experiences, good or bad, we grow and open ourselves to ever greater peace, joy and well-being.

Pranayams can be a tool for people who seek this kind of inner growth and clarity. The word “prana” means the vital energy and “yama” means to gain control over that, so pranayams can be a subtle process to gain control over inner energies. In this class we go farther into breathing techniques that help increase confidence, steadiness, clarity and mental serenity which, in turn, translate into ever greater inner growth.
