Meet John M., one of our amazing residents!
He was born and raised in New York City. After finishing high school, he went straight into the United States Marine Corp. He spent two years in Vietnam during the war and also traveled to Australia, Japan, and the Philippines while on duty. He was also stationed in Florida, South Carolina and Louisiana. Of all the places he’s traveled, John said Japan was his favorite.
John married his wife Victoria in April of 1982 and has 3 sons and 7 grandchildren.
John has been living in our South Coast community for 2 years. One of his favorite things about living here is that it is a peaceful place with very nice staff and great directors. He finds comfort in the fact that staff members are very attentive to residents’ needs and very helpful. John loves sitting outside with a hot cup of coffee after grabbing breakfast. He also enjoys the many social gatherings and events within the community. He especially loves the live entertainment, and some of his hobbies include Latin dance and ballroom dancing.
