Happy Memorial Day🇺🇸
Our deepest gratitude to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice and.served our country.
…a recent trip with my son Jude to Washington DC was a stark reminder of how fortunate “We The People” truly are.

🦷Bruxism, the habit of grinding or clenching your teeth, can be harmful for several reasons:
☁️Tooth Damage: Continuous grinding can wear down the enamel on your teeth, leading to tooth sensitivity, fractures, or even loss of teeth.
☁️Jaw and Muscle Pain: The pressure from clenching or grinding can cause pain in the jaw, face, and neck. It may even lead to temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, which affect the joint that connects the jaw to the skull.
☁️Headaches: People with bruxism often experience tension headaches due to the stress placed on the muscles involved in chewing.
☁️Gum Recession: The force exerted while grinding can also cause the gums to recede, leading to increased tooth sensitivity and potential gum disease.
☁️Sleep Disruptions: Bruxism can occur during sleep, disrupting rest and potentially leading to chronic fatigue.
*It’s often caused by stress, anxiety, or misaligned teeth, so managing these factors can help alleviate the condition.

Before and 13 days after a frenectomy procedure with Dr Pancer. A Lip tie (frenum) can pull on your gums making you more susceptible to thinning and receding gums and bone. The frenectomy is a simple and quick procedure to remove that muscle pull to protect your teeth and keep them healthy.
