June is Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month, so today we're focusing on the important benefits of art and painting for our Memory Care residents! The arts remain accessible for those with memory loss due to their multi-sensory nature–touch, sight, sound, etc.–which allows them to become immersed in the activity regardless of past experience.

It is such a joy to not only see what they create, but to see their immense pride when a piece has been completed! Check out some of our lovely creations. We can't wait to see what they make next!
