I love this verse and it is my main verse for this faith and fitness brand!!! And it will be one of the four verses that are going to be put on leggings and shorts. So excited for this line of products, to inspire you and others.
Here is a little bit more in depth information on this verse.
1. “She is clothed” - the symbolism of clothing in scripture is often used to symbolize a persons spiritual state. For example, Adam and Eve covered themselves with fig leaves, used to cover the shame they felt after disobeying God. Also as Christians, we are called to put on the full armor of God to fight against temptation.
2. Four ways to be clothed with strength and dignity
- be trustworthy, be truthful in words and deeds, be dependable
- for strength, become spiritually stronger by spending time in God’s words, prayer, serving others and be part of a like minded community, such as church.
- also for strength, can become more fit and healthy - stronger physically. Which is important as well as God gave us these bodies and we are responsible to take care of it, we are the temple of God and the Holy Spirit dwells within us.
- in regards to Dignity, know your self worth, you have been created by God, honor Him with what you say and do.
3. “Can laugh at the days to come” - trust God and His plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11. Know that He is always there and lift up your requests to Him and He hears you. He is guiding and directing your paths!
