Outings like this remind us how important it is to keep life normal and joyful, even when living with dementia. Watching our residents light up as they pick pumpkins, laugh with friends, and share memories from years past is why we do what we do. Our day was filled with joy as we combined Kitchen Club, Game Club, and Pet Therapy into one meaningful engagement — a beautiful picnic at the park! 🧺🐾🎲

The fun and excitement carried through every moment, and one of our residents even had a heartwarming surprise — running into her grandbaby and making new memories together. 💕

This is exactly what integrating our community with our neighborhoods is all about: normalizing the enjoyment of life and creating purposeful engagements each and every day.
