Canine Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation and Pain Management has become a standard of care for pets recovering from injury, orthopedic, and neurologic surgeries, preventing injury in sporting and working dogs, management of chronic conditions like arthritis or progressive conditions like degenerative myelopathies. Golden Gait Canine is able to provide high energy Shock Wave Therapy (Extracorporeal Shockwave - ESWT) which helps works at the cellular level to speed healing, reduce inflammation and swelling and increase bone formation. The acoustic sound waves release healing growth factors among other positive cellular processes within the body. Golden Gait Canine primarily provides ESWT within the Animal Wellness Center of Marin's Rehabilitation and Pain Management clinic but in special circumstances is able to provide mobile services under the direct supervision of a CA licensed veterinarian.
