The type of massage that I give is a deep tissue massage with a gentle quality. Its nurturing in nature and specific to each person that I work with. The goal with everyone that I work with is to relieve chronic pain permanently and to reach a state of relaxation so that the healing can begin. I believe that most chronic pain is related to a life event or an emotion. Specifically I am trained in Swedish massage, hot stone massage, and Reiki (energy work). Also, I have experience with trigger point and cranial sacral therapy. The energy work that I do has been described as very relaxing, bringing joy, and adding a whole new level to the physical massage. Currently I am offering energy work during the massage, on its own, or from a distance.
