🤨 I have a serious question for you today. How many of you had a teacher, classmate, parent, or someone in authority tell you something cruel that still hurt to this day? I would guess that most of you have at least one moment in time that popped into your head as you read this question.

😕 As children are natural inclination is to please our parents and those around us in a subconscious bid for connection and belonging. So, when something is said to us that cuts deeply, we are naturally inclined to believe it no matter if it is true or not.

💁‍♀️ Also, as children we are egocentric, meaning that when bad things happen even if it is beyond our control, it becomes our fault that it happened. That goes as far as parents divorcing, abuse, neglect, the list could go on.

🌄 Today, I want to tell you that you don't have to believe those lies any longer. There is healing, love, and belonging that is yours as you let go of the hurts that have limited you for too long. They only have power over you as long as you allow your subconscious to control your worth.

🕊 I know these words are easy to say, the hard part is retraining your brain that it has believed something for so many years. It's going to take deep inner work to start shifting your mindset, but it is possible, and you are capable!!

💪 You are strong, you are worthy, you are enough. The path to healing has hills and valleys, but as you continue to take one step forward, and then another, you build momentum. Each day it gets a little easier and the day you begin to believe in yourself is the day you become limitless.
