Building strength one te****le at a time!! We used therapy putty and shape-making activities to improve fine motor control, hand strength, and finger coordination. Manipulating the putty helps strengthen the small muscles of the hands while forming shapes encourages precision, dexterity, and functional movement needed for daily tasks.

HOORAY!!! We are so excited for this QUICK approval! I think that is a record!

CA-1 vs CA-2: What’s the Difference?
If you’re a federal worker and you’re hurt on the job, the right form matters just as much as getting treatment.
CA-1 – Traumatic Injury

Use a CA-1 when:

Your injury happened at a specific time and place

You can point to a single event (ex: slipped on a wet floor, lifted a heavy box once and felt a pop, got hit by an object)

Think: “One incident, one moment.”
CA-2 – Occupational Disease/Illness

Use a CA-2 when:

Your condition developed over time

It’s due to repetitive work or ongoing exposure

(ex: gradually worsening back pain, carpal tunnel, breathing issues from long-term exposure)

Think: “Built up over days, weeks, or years.”
Not sure which one fits your situation?

At Federal Injury Centers of Utah, we help federal workers:
