Tena Hosie received her canine rehabilitation certification from The Canine Rehabilitation Institute in Loxahatchee, Florida, in January 2007. Tena completed a working internship in canine rehabilitation at Veterinary Orthopedic Sports Medicine in Maryland from July, 2006 thru November of 2006. Prior to specializing in canine rehab, Tena received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine in 1992. She has practiced physical therapy for the last 22 years in Maine, New Hampshire, Utah and Maryland. She has practiced in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation. Tena enjoys skiing, kayaking, scrapbooking and spending time with her husband and two four legged daughters, Sophie and Ruby.

We would like to dedicate this beautiful day and weekend to HOWIE; one of the most handsome boys ever! HOWIE received his GIANT ANGEL WINGS this week.... Howie had been attending Physical
Therapy nearly every week for the past two years. He suffered a spinal stroke when he was just two years old. His mom took amazing care of him through his 11 years of life. He had his original therapy at The University of Tennessee and was able to travel and enjoy many adventures with his mom. As he got older his mom contacted Alta Dog for him to gain some extra strength and keep up his balance. We loved Howie from the moment he bounced through the door! Howie always had a big smile on his face and did absolutely any exercise we asked him to do! Howie brought us many laughs and we loved him dearly! Howie you will be in our hearts forever! We are sending love to your mom, brother and dad.

Happy 9th Birthday to handsome Mascot Beau!! Beau had a femoral head osteotomy at just 4 1/2 mo. Old due to a necrotic hip! Dispite surgery as a wee baby boy Beau has had an amazing and happy adventurous life! He was adopted from the Companion Golden Retriever Rescue by The Pally's who have continued his therapy both at home and at Alta Dog!

Happy 4th Birthday to mini monster mascot Jack Jack!! Giant Goldendoodle HOWARD! "Howie" is now 11 years old and celebrated his birthday with a big party at TF brewing!
And Calvin- Little King Charles Cavalier celebrated his 13th birthday with a special night out at the park!!

Thank you Pet Spawt for hosting, thank you amazing volunteers for checking dogs in, washing dogs, taking photos, thank you for those that donated amazing prizes for our raffle and THANK YOU for those who attended!!
