Autumn is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). She has been a social worker for 7 years. She has been a hospice social worker for 4 years. Autumn feels hospice is where she is meant to be.

“It is a privilege to be part of someone’s journey during this vulnerable part of life. Being a hospice social worker means the world to me because I can be there for someone and help them find peace and comfort before they pass. National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day is observed on July 27th each year to commemorate the end of the Korean War and honor the veterans who served.

This day signifies the armistice agreement signed on July 27, 1953, which brought an end to active combat between North and South Korea.

It's a day to remember the sacrifices made by American and Korean soldiers and to reflect on the legacy of the war.

We were honored to host a community memorial event recently. It allowed attendees to 'let their love grow' for their loved ones passed on with reverential time, activities and community fellowship. Inspired by this event and by this quote, I wanted to share it with you all.
