We have a lot of lymph in our bodies, much more than blood! However, the lymph does not have a pump like the blood does with the heart. The lymph is our 'garbage collection service' and must ensure that all tissues and organs remain cleaned of waste.
The body places a lot of waste in breasts because:
- it has the 'safe' fat tissue to store.
- breasts lying outside the body.
- breasts are not vital organs .
- The body thus keeps the toxins away from the vital organs such as the kidneys and the heart.
When we wear a bra, we ensure that the lymph in the breast area can move less well and therefore can ditch the toxins less well. The brace in particular is located at an important drainage point of lymph towards the armpit. Because we 'lock' the lymph we prevent a proper drainage.
Quick tips for healthy breasts:
💚 Bra off more often, and if you wear a bra, choose braces and seamless alternative
