It’s that time of year when the weather changes and everyone starts getting the sniffles. I usually stock up on my sick day essentials once winter arrives. Of course basic chicken noodle soup is a favorite. But you can only have the same soup so many times. This homemade potsticker soup is a great alternative and it’s loaded with the same classic veggies. I love the soy sauce and sesame seed oil flavoring along with the tasty grilled potstickers.

This is a family favorite and can be made in a large pot to offer up many servings or frozen in batches.

It’s go time for pie! What’s your favorite pie to bake for Thanksgiving?

Today we’re baking up Apple Pie!

Here are some tips for getting a perfect apple pie every time!

🩷 Use a mix of apples- try using a combo of sweet and sour apples, such as Honeycrisp and Gala with a few Green Apples. 🍎🍏

🩷 Keep the ingredients simple and let the apples be the star of the show- Slice up the apples and blend in a little brown sugar, regular sugar, salt, and cinnamon. 🌟

🩷 Brighten the flavor with a squeeze of lemon- lemon juice will keep the apples fresh and it will bring in just enough acidity for flavor 🍋

🩷 Use a clear Pyrex dish for the pie plate so you can check the bottom for “doneness”- bake until the pie crust is golden brown! 🥧

These adorable pumpkin cookies are a great Halloween treat. They are made from Trader Joe's gluten free pumpkin spice pancake mix. No worries if you can’t find the mix (it’s limited in TJ stores during the fall). You can substitute your favorite gluten free or regular flour and pumpkin pie spices!

These pumpkin cookies are adapted from a Madeleine cookie recipe so they are light and fluffy and super delicious! These are perfect for Halloween parties or just a great activity with your kids!
