A baby, unexpectedly born at 37 weeks in respiratory distress, had to be airlifted. In the midst of that terrifying experience, two Guardian Air Transport flight nurses made an unforgettable impact on the family.
“Though they met us on one of the most traumatic days of our lives, we remember the calmness that came over us when we met Shannon Skirvin and Lucy Zai and learned they would be the ones caring for our baby," said Jennifer Rice, a grateful family member. "They truly are the best of the best.”
