Today marks the first day of winter, and while we're not dealing with snow here in Arizona, the dry, winter air makes one health topic absolutely critical: Hydration!

Seniors are more vulnerable to dehydration, especially when they don't feel as thirsty. As your care partners, AZ Care Management emphasizes proactive health measures.

3 Simple Winter Hydration Tips:

Warm Beverages Count: Enjoy warm herbal teas and broths—they feel cozy and contribute to fluid intake.

Infuse It: If plain water is boring, add slices of lemon, cucumber, or mint to make it more appealing.

Eat Your Water: Include water-rich foods like soups, stews, and fresh fruits/vegetables in every meal.
