Because the need continues, we’re keeping the food drive going, this time benefiting Care & Share House, another local nonprofit helping families in our community.

We’ve joined forces with the Council Bluffs Fire Department, Council Bluffs Police Department, Council Bluffs Area Chamber of Commerce, and Pottawattamie County, Iowa to help address food insecurity. Many local families are struggling to put food on the table, and recent changes to SNAP benefits have only increased the need.

Most-needed items include:
🍝 Canned spaghetti sauce
🍜 Pasta
🥣 Canned soups and dinners
🧀 Mac & cheese
🍪 Cookies
🍲 Ramen noodles
🐟 Canned tuna and chicken
🫘 Refried beans
🥫 Pork and beans
🥔 Instant potatoes

Today, we honor the strength and sacrifice of our veterans—both on and off the battlefield. While their service protects our freedom, many continue to face invisible battles with PTSD, depression, and anxiety long after returning home.

To all veterans and their families, thank you for your service, your strength and your story. And a special thank-you to our own team members, Shanen Taylor (U.S. Air Force) and Sharon Keeley (U.S. Navy), for their dedication and service to our country and our community. 💙

Our Plattsmouth office is teaming up with community partners to give back. We’re gathering supplies for local food pantries to create Thanksgiving boxes for families in need. We’ve created an updated list of needed items and the locations we’re supporting to make donating even easier. Please drop off donations by November 18th!
