A big milestone for the team at CHI Health Nebraska Heart! Dr. Nayanjyoti Kaushik, Dr. Wynn Hunter, and the entire cath lab team are celebrating more than 500 successful ablation procedures in the last year!

The minimally invasive procedure uses pulses of electrical energy to target the cause of irregular heartbeats, or AFib. Congratulations to the team for all your hard work, dedication, and teamwork! 💙

A minimally invasive therapy for treating select patients with tricuspid valve regurgitation is now available at CHI Health Nebraska Heart!

The team completed its first procedure on Thursday, making it the first at the hospital and for all of CHI Health in Nebraska. Congratulations to the physicians and team who made this possible, ensuring our patients have access to the latest and greatest treatments!

Each year, CHI Health Immanuel Rehabilitation Institute and Nebraska Adaptive Sports put on a week-long camp for wheelchair athletes ages five through high school. This year's camp was a huge success, including athletes from Nebraska, Iowa, and Kansas!

The camp introduces these athletes to different kinds of adaptive sports - from wheelchair softball to hand cycling. Beyond sports, the camp fosters friendship and shows these kids their full potential.

Truly inspiring! 💙 KMTV 3 News Now's "Positively the Heartland" shines a light on two incredible mental health therapists, Jen Baker and Ali Kampe, at CHI Health's Lasting Hope Recovery Center.

At Lasting Hope Recovery Center, they understand 'mental illness can affect anyone.' The team also understands how access to things like a toothbrush or seasonal clothes make a difference in healing.

Communities play a role in supporting breastfeeding mothers. At CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs, we offer lactation services as an inpatient and an outpatient.

Katie is an occupational therapist at our CHI Health YMCA outpatient rehabilitation clinic. She specializes in lymphedema management as well as completing wheelchair and power mobility evaluations.
