We had another paws-itively wonderful outing to Midlands Humane Society, spending time visiting with the sweetest dogs and brightening their day with a special surprise — homemade dog treats we made together right here at CountryHouse. 💛🐶

Today we celebrate the first day back to school for the Council Bluffs students! There’s something so special about fresh notebooks, sharpened pencils, and the excitement of new beginnings.

This year, our residents joined in the fun by helping pick out and donate school supplies to a local Elementary School! 🖍️✂️ Their joy was contagious as they filled bags with bright crayons, sturdy folders, and everything a student needs to start the year off right - and dont even get me started on their budgeting capabilities, as they calculated every penny and found the best deals! 📓📏

These small acts of kindness remind us that learning is a community effort. ❤️ We’re proud to support our neighborhood kids, and our Countryhouse kids, as they head into another year of discovery and growth.

Our carnival was a huge success thanks to our wonderful residents, families, and staff who brought the fun to life. From the smell of fresh cotton candy and popcorn to the sound of laughter at the games, the whole place was filled with joy. 🍭🎯🎶

🎨👕 TIE-DYE TIME! 👕🎨

We rolled up our sleeves and got seriously colorful with a fun tie-dye T-shirt activity! From swirling spirals to bold bursts of color, everyone added their own creative flair — and let’s just say, no two shirts are alike (and that’s the best part!).

There were lots of laughs, a few dye-splattered hands, and so much joy watching the designs come to life. Activities like this remind us that art isn’t about perfection — it’s about expression, connection, and having fun in the moment.
