Honoring a hero! 🎖️ Last week, we celebrated William Muth, one of the Veteran residents at CountryHouse Council Bluffs, as he received a medal and ribbon for his service during World War II—one of the highest honors a Veteran can receive. Surrounded by family and friends, it was a truly special afternoon celebrating William’s incredible legacy.

We carved pumpkins, roasted the seeds for a tasty snack, and got creative with colorful cupcake frosting! 🧁 We wrapped it all up with a Halloween party complete with our fun treats, spooky drinks, live music, laughter, and plenty of smiles. 💜

We had another wonderful visit from the preschoolers this month! The room instantly lit up with laughter and joy as our residents and the little ones shared stories, songs, and smiles. 🧡

It’s such a heartwarming sight to see the generations come together — the residents absolutely adore these visits, and we’re so thankful to the Council Bluffs Library and Bloomer Elementary for helping make these special moments happen. 🌟

🎃 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Trick-or-Treat Night! 👻

Even with the chilly weather, our hearts, (and courtyard) were full. The residents absolutely loved seeing all the little ghosts, goblins, princesses and superheroes — and they couldn’t stop smiling the entire evening! 🧡

We are so grateful to our families, staff, and community for making this such a fun, joy-filled night. Your visits mean the world to our residents — and we’re already looking forward to next year! 🍬✨
